本協會之設立宗旨在於推動公益慈善，致力於促進國際文化、教育與學術之研究與交流；支持並贊助旨在透過藝術與人民活動，增進各族群對不同社會之理解與欣賞國際及本地文化項目；為美國境內外之文化機構提供慈善協助與資源。舉辦各類社交、文化及教育活動，以提升社區內有限英語能力之居民生活品質。並著重於健康促進、公民考試輔導、語言協助、就業推薦、人權倡導及公民意識之培養。同時，透過提供高等教育資助與獎學金，以推動美國華裔青年之學術卓越。

This corporation has been formed for charitable purposes, to provide international cultural, educational, and academic research / exchange; to sponsor international and local cultural events that are designed to increase understanding and appreciation of other societies through arts and humanities; to provide charitable support for cultural institutions within and outside of the United States; to provide social events, cultural activities and educational programs to enhance the quality of life of limited English speaking residents in the community, with an emphasis in health promotion, citizenship exam tutorial, language assistance, employment referrals, human rights advocacy and civil duties awareness; to promote academic excellence of American Chinese Youth by providing scholarship funds for higher education and recognition.
